Bob Luby, Managing Director
Bob Luby serves as Managing Director of True North Equities. Before he joined True North Equities, Mr. Luby served as a Vice President in IBM Global Business Services, where he led the Public Sector Consulting Practice. This practice included several thousand professionals, with signings in excess of $1.1B. Prior to leading the IBM Public Sector Consulting Practice, Mr. Luby led the IBM Supply Chain Management Services practice for the public sector. He held this position for over 12 years. During his tenure, his practice included over 1,000 logistics and supply chain management professionals, with annual signings in excess of $400M. Mr. Luby has over 30 years of logistics, supply chain management and complex program management experience. He has led several programs and initiatives with the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security. He was also previously a partner at both Coopers & Lybrand and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Luby holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the United States Naval Academy and Masters Degrees in Engineering Management from Northwestern University and Mechanical Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School.
Helen Thompson, Director of Operations
Ms. Thompson possesses over 30 years of operations management experience. Before joining True North Equities, Helen served as operations manager for IBM’s Public Sector Supply Chain Management practice, which included over 1,000 consultants. As part of True North Equities, Helen is responsible for overseeing all aspects of business operations, including on-boarding, compensation programs, accounts payable, accounts receivable, labor reporting, financial reporting, travel & expense reporting and Federal contract compliance. Helen also manages the Shared Services program, which includes all aspects of marketing, development and delivery of individual client contracts.

Tim Luby is co-founder & CEO of True North Investments, a commercial real estate firm. Mr. Luby is a highly successful real estate, banking, and investment entrepreneur, bringing more than 30 years of experience to True North Equities.
