Warehouse Inventory Manager
Job Description:
The True North team is searching for an experienced Warehouse Inventory Manager to manage our receiving, warehousing and distribution operations in North America.
The Warehouse Inventory Manager will work with several affiliated companies and clients in support of our global supply chain efforts. Successful candidates will oversee the efficient receipt, storage and delivery of a wide range of consumer and industrial products. Accountable for a vital portion of our supply chain process, the warehouse manager will be expected to ensure that all goods are received, controlled and distributed appropriately to meet all assigned productivity targets.
Successful candidates will have a proven track record in managing warehouse operations, to include expertise in vendor relations and the requisite experience to hire, train and manage all required staff to ensure the efficient flow of merchandise through the warehouse. The manager will be expected to develop and manage a team that will routinely deliver exceptional operational performance that will provide timely delivery of all products. The manager should have a strong knowledge of warehouse management system (WMS) software and databases. The manager should also be able to conduct the following activities:
Candidates should be team players, demonstrate sound discretion and good judgement, and have superior verbal communication skills. Candidates should also have the flexibility to perform other duties and assignments as required by our dynamic business environment.
Candidates should be fluent in English (additional language skills is a plus). Successful candidates will be required to relocate to southeastern United States. BS Degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration preferred. Professional education, licenses, and certifications should be commensurate with the required experience level and demonstrate increasing responsibility and expertise.
Candidates must abide by a drug free workplace policy and are subject to testing.
Locations: Successful candidates will be required to relocate to a city in the South Eastern United States (may or may not be a port city). Should also be available to travel domestically and internationally if required.

- Warehouse setup and organization
- Inventory analysis and control (protocols/action plans)
- International logistics experience (sea/air)
- Project Management (PMP is a plus)
- Vendor/client engagement
- Loss prevention
- Identify, train and promote personnel with managerial potential

Requirements:
- BS degree in supply chain, logistics, business or finance required
- 15 years of experience
- Hazmat certification preferred.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Knowledge of WMS and Order management systems
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project
- Not an upwardly mobile position
- Successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
